Janet admiring recent work by Megen Leigh last week.

Janet Rajadhyaksha has been coming to the High Road Gallery for 25 years.

She and Carol Hershey originally became friends through church and their children’s preschool. Those children are now, of course, well into adulthood.

She was quite surprised to hear that Carol had passed away, as Carol had never appeared weak or sick to her, even in the last few months.

Janet has purchased many, many pieces over the years at the High Road Gallery. Some of her favorites feature cats and birds, not only from Carol, but also from several other resident artists at the gallery.

She appreciates our gallery for one very practical reason: because it is easy to park nearby, saying it is too hard to park at the downtown Columbus galleries.

Janet believes in supporting local artists and smaller galleries. She says, “There is a place for all art.”
