MONDE HALE  describes himself as a lover of grungy vistas, urban vibes and beautiful people. The current oil painter from Columbus began painting at 12 years of age. He attended Denison University where he cultivated his skill and artistic lens through studies in communication and fine art. Hale's work explores the way intangible thoughts, beliefs and emotions come to life in the environments we build and use. He best fuels his passion for creating art by sharing new ways of viewing the world through painting cityscapes infused with rich and vibrant color, gritty street textures. and nostalgic skies. 

NAICHUAN PENG was born in Shanghai, China, and began painting in 1973. She worked as an art designer in Shanghai, and  immigrated to the US in 1989 where she continued to develop her painting skills, focusing on oil and water color on rice paper. Her paintings have been exhibited in Shanghai, Chicago and throughout Central Ohio, where she now resides.

STEVE CARMEAN worked in the graphic arts field in Columbus, Ohio for 30 years. He started painting in oil in early 2017, influenced by 

the paintings of Edward Hopper, Sarah Sedwick, Jane French, Timothy Horn and Kenton Nelson.

He studied with artists Joe Lombardo and Sarah Sedwick. His graphic arts background is evident in his painting and helps to define his artistic style.

MARY JANE QUICK is a career educator and social worker, who initially became interested in encaustic art but now uses a variety of media that include encaustic, watercolor, mixed-media collage, and spirit doll making. As a feminist, her art explorations revolve around the female experience, nature, and the challenges of living in an out of balance world.
