Join featured artist Bev Goldie for a FREE Art Talk at High Road Gallery.
Bev Goldie has been creating work in the Columbus area professionally since 2004. She's best known for oil and encaustic works with impressionistic subjects. She has received three grants from the Greater Columbus Art Council in order to teach workshops and classes in encaustics and for professional development. One of the grants helped underwrite the materials for many of the works in this show - "Derived from the Palette of the Masters".
Bev has served in several art organization leadership roles locally and nationally. She has received many awards, commissions by City Governments, a request for a piece in the Encaustic Museum of Art in Santa Fe, N.M. and teaches encaustics at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center downtown. She enjoys showing others how to set their work on fire in order to create a controlled shellac burn work. Enjoy the scope and breadth of her work, and come visit when she does demonstrations!
